| 151409 | 11/16/2006 6:49:04 PM | I have recently replaced my points distributor with one of accels HEI 52100 and replaced my coil with your 140001. The first time I tried this I could not get the distributor to fire. I called your tech dept. and was told that the module could be burned out, so I sent it back and got another one. The second one worked for a few days, but now the distributor nor the coil will fire. I have by-passed the resistor. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Bill |
| 124876 | 8/10/2005 4:45:30 PM | I have a Accel dual point distributor, part #30100 Serial #C26039. Could you tell me what years, make, and engine sizes this distributor fits? Thanks for your time. Rick. |
| 114535 | 2/4/2005 11:37:03 AM | Since I am unable to upgrade my 37 series distributor to an HEI cap, I may upgrade the complete distributor. Would either Accel model #71202E or #59205 be appropriate for drag racing. RPM currently as high as 7500. Why one over the other? Are there any Mallory available for racing? |
| 114389 | 2/1/2005 5:59:13 PM | Are there plans to release a bolt-in replacement to the stock GM Vortec 305 distributor? I stripped the threads in one of the holes of the stock distributor's plastic base that holds the cap on. |
| 114216 | 1/29/2005 11:32:26 AM | Does the 59107C have removable sleeves on the stop pins. Trying to gain more mechanical advance. Sorry, have not taken apart the distributor to inspect.
Thanks, Bill |
| 113821 | 1/23/2005 4:13:59 PM | If I place your new Accel points eliminator kit, do I also need to change the stock (points) coil to a later type (electronic)?

| 113811 | 1/23/2005 10:48:10 AM | I have a chance to purchase an Accel re-manufactured distributor #71201E. Is this an old version of #52201?
How does the 71201E compare to 52201? |
| 112547 | 12/29/2004 12:30:21 PM | How many miles should I go before cleaning the Kool Blue Air Filter? I drive about 90% highway driving and 10% around town. The filter that I use is a KP2842 panel filter. |
| 112543 | 12/29/2004 11:53:14 AM | Do you have a Short / Header spark plug to replace AC-Delco R44LTS plug ?
If so, what part number do I use ?
Thanks
Bill |
| 112524 | 12/29/2004 12:28:56 AM | Hey Guys,
I am running the accel 71100E on a 350 and my auto electrician was wondering do i need a Ballist resistor on the coil?
Cheers Glenn |
| 112520 | 12/28/2004 11:31:16 PM | Dear tech support, I have an older accel ignition system that consist of a module mod.#BEI and an distributor mod.#335201 and serial#D56717, I was wondering if you would have the wiring diagram or manual and if you could e-mail me a copy. Thanks for your time. Alex Gibson |
| 108994 | 10/10/2004 12:34:43 PM | I'm trying to isolate a whistling noise that sounds like it is coming from the area of the intake manifold. I hear the noise between 160-200 deg. coolant temp. It stops at full throttle. I hear it with the Z06 intake and the LSX intake. I have changed intake gaskets twice. I installed the Accel #150130 fuel injectors at the time the whistle started.
Have you heard of the Accel fuel injectors making a whistling noises at partial throttle position once heated to a certain temperature band?
Thank you, Todd Beal |
| 107160 | 8/31/2004 6:37:43 PM | I have converted to mass air. I used the a9p eec which is an automatic transmission application, But it works with manual trans also.
I have purchased the accel 60201M dist.
What is the difference between the 60201m and the 60201a I read that M is for manual and A is for auto trans. Do I need a Auto trans dizzy to make it work with the eec I have or am I needlessly worrying? I tried calling tech support and waited for 1 hr 30 mins and never spoke to anyone. Very Frustrating!! |
| 107157 | 8/31/2004 6:21:37 PM | I need to change the ZZ4 vacuum dist. with a computer control dist. and I don't want to use the old orignal.
Is your #60109 a replacement and if not do you have one? Also what is your replacement coil part# for my car?
Sincerely,
Michael A. Wigon |

| 107094 | 8/30/2004 5:01:28 PM | I bought a 392 CI Ford Crate Engine from Ford Racing. They told me that the distributor was a custom one built for them by Accel.
I need to do some work on it, and need some information about it. I want to convert it from normal advance, to the advance being locked out. I want to run the engine at 32 degrees only. I have a MSD Digital 6 Plus, and will use the start retard on it. Can you send me a parts lay out? I have built several older type distributors, but want to make sure I do not damage this. |
| 107009 | 8/28/2004 6:41:02 PM | i have been trying to find a points eliminator kit for an amc 304 v-8 with points ingnition do you make one? |

| 106849 | 8/25/2004 1:56:02 PM | how do I test a super coil? |
| 106848 | 8/25/2004 1:52:02 PM | About a year ago I purchased some 24lbs injectors for the tpi system. The car is done but it seems to be dumping too much fuel in and bogging down. Were these injectors too big or are they the standard size? If they are not the standard size, do you have any suggestions? Someone told me to buy the 19lbs and that would solve my problem. I'd hate too spend that money if there's something else that can be done.
Thank you
